So here it is - a couple days past and these are the images.
I really enjoyed taking their photos! It was super fun to incorporate something you've always loved, while doing something I now truly love. Horses & Photography.
I rode horses for 8 years of my life. Thanks to my grandparents and dad who supported that stage in my life. As I rounded the corner to Grade 11, my Band at the time was playing alot of shows, so I made a hard choice and left riding to dedicate myself to music. I remember my last lesson, and at the end I walked the horse I leased at the time, around the arena and I remember tears slowly dripping down my cheeks. I remember letting my horse out to the pasture that one last time and it wasn't for 4 long years before I rode again.
Even though I've already been promised a horse one day from my husband, I'm even more now convinced to get one. This has apparently been my goal since childhood, my mom has letters I wrote to Santa still, where I begged in the letters for a horse of my own.
I find it funny that most little girls go through their crazy for horses stage but I supposed I never got past my stage, and neither did Stephanie!!
-But that's okay, becuase horses are awsome, beautiful, meant to be respected and when you have an awsome relationship with your horses it shows!
You can tell just by looking at these photos how proud Stephanie is of her horse, Jay and how they make such a good team!!
Check out Chicoine Equestrian! Stephanie takes on horses and fixes slight issues or helps with training. She's an awsome rider and if you live in the Lower Mainland and have a horse you'd like help on improving, contact her!
